Bioscience Community finds partner in Kelly Scientific Resources

Kelly Scientific Resources (KSR) has developed a strong partnership with Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora, meeting the professional staffing needs of start-up biotech companies in the area and earning a reputation for excellence in the bioscience community. 

The Challenge

The Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority was seeking to provide on-site business support services to bioscience companies located in Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora. The Center functions as an incubator for life science companies. These companies, many of which are start-ups, don’t have the resources to recruit necessary scientific personnel. Fitzsimons wanted a reputable vendor with national capabilities to assist in providing professional staffing for them.

The Solution

KSR was selected to provide an on-site team to meet the recruiting needs of the Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora. Kelly also manages on-site workshops, seminars and individual consultations with bioscience companies relating to the human resources and staffing fields. Finally, Kelly provides competitively priced business services for research park companies, including complementary introductory consultations to tenants and tenant prospects.

The Results

The partnership between KSR and the bioscience community has been very successful. To date, KSR has helped more than four start-up bioscience companies with their staffing needs, and has placed approximately 15 scientific professionals in positions within the Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora.

Kelly Scientific Resource’s involvement in Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora includes presentations and tours of the facilities. KSR has also expanded its involvement to include outside participation in community networking events, university recruiting initiatives, career workshops and presentations to high school students interested in the bioscience field.
